The awards ceremony of the “Integrity Lesson Plan Design Collection Activity” was held in the Luso-Chinese Technical and Vocational School at 3:00pm on last Saturday (29th August), during which teachers and students who won in the activity were awarded. The Commissioner Against Corruption, Chan Tsz King, stated that the CCAC would continue to put its efforts in the education of integrity and honesty in schools in order to join hands with schools, teachers and parents to foster a honest, righteous and responsible generation.

Launched in January, the activity was divided into the Open Group and the Student Group. The CCAC received a total of 68 entries from 24 schools and higher education institutions, from which a total of 23 Excellent Lesson Plans and 38 Commendable Lesson Plans have been selected by a professional jury panel. In his speech during the ceremony, the Commissioner Against Corruption, Chan Tsz King, stated that the activities had elicited good response and attracted many practical integrity education plans and materials which had good quality and catered for the current educational environment of Macao. He believed that they would diversify the education of integrity and facilitate teaching professionals’ further thinking on how to carry out better education of integrity and they would design even more excellent teaching plans.

Over 80 representatives of the education sector and relevant associations and winners attended the awards ceremony. Apart from the Commissioner Against Corruption, Chan Tsz King, the award presenters also included Deputy Commissioner, Ao Ieong Seong, Chief of the Cabinet, Chan In Chio, Advisor, Lam In Sang, and representatives of the jury panel - Dean of Faculty of Education at the City University of Macau, Shuying Sean Li, Associate Professor of Faculty of Education of the University of Macau, Sou Kuan Vong, Assistant Professor of Faculty of Social Sciences and Education at the University of Saint Joseph, Kiiko Ikegami, and Assistant Professor of Faculty of Education at the City University of Macau, Peng Jun, and President of the Chinese Educators Association of Macau, Cheang Hong Kuong.

In the awards ceremony, some of the winners of the Excellent Lesson Plan awards shared their views and experience on developing the lesson plans. The selected lesson plans will be uploaded to the special webpage “Database of Education on Integrity” for use by education workers.
