The typhoon signal No.8 was cancelled in Macao. The 38th Macao Young Musicians Competition, originally scheduled for this afternoon, will be cancelled, other activities and the Macao Young Musicians Competition scheduled for this evening will remain unchanged.

Libraries under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), namely the Macao Central Library, the Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, the S. Lourenço Library, the Ilha Verde Library, the Mong Há Library, the Taipa Library, the Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Taipa, the Seac Pai Van Library, the Senado Library and the Archives of Macao will open to the public in the afternoon.

However, the opening of libraries in gardens such as the Library in Ho Yin Garden, the Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Luís de Camões Garden, the Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Municipal Park, the Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Areia Preta Urban Park and the Wong Ieng Kuan Children's Library in Areia Preta Urban Park is subject to the park’s opening hours announced by the Municipal Affairs Bureau.

Other libraries and cultural facilities (heritage sites, museums, exhibition halls, excluding performance venues) will be temporarily closed to the public until further notice due to the maintenance and cleaning works.
