Consumer Council conducted its ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 20 March for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included 13 supermarkets in Sé Parish. Consumers may now check the report data on the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo) or the “Supermarket Price Information Platform” app.

The Consumer Council has decided the seven parishes in Macao into different regions and conduct the supermarket survey work eight times monthly, data of each survey is generated into “Supermarket price survey report” and uploaded to the Council’s website. Moreover, the data is used to analyze the selling prices of all products and presented in different functions on the app, such as “Supermarket Price Watch” and “Smart Choice”, to enable consumers to compare prices at supermarket more conveniently. Consumers may assess the data of each survey report on the “Supermarket Price Information Platform” app available on both iPhone and Android platforms, the Council’s official WeChat account and the Council’s website.

The “Supermarket Price Survey” is now available at the main office of the Consumer Council, IAM’s Iao Hon and S. Domingos Markets, and libraries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau.
